ArcelorMittal Europe – Tubular Products is proud to be at the forefront of sustainability initiatives in the steel tube industry. SRW, our production site located in Altensteig, starts offering XCarb® low-carbon tubes.

Proudly committed to the local economy in the Black Forest, ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Altensteig continues reducing our carbon footprint and embracing sustainable solutions. By producing these low carbon-emission steel tubes, we are actively contributing to a greener future and setting a positive example for our industry.

What makes these tubes unique is their composition of XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel coils produced by ArcelorMittal Sestao in Spain, which results in up to 72% less CO2 equivalent emissions compared to traditional steel tubes. This exceptional reduction in carbon emissions makes them one of the most environmentally friendly options available. A third-party PCF (Product Carbon Footprint) proves all data in a transparent way and helps our customers to considerably reduce their Scope 3 footprint themselves.
