During an event taking place on May 7th, ArcelorMittal Europe – Tubular Products officially launched its “Véritube” label to identify its steel tubes made in France.

The launch of Véritube brings the full breadth of the tube local activity in France. It aims to demonstrate to stakeholders the diverse range of initiatives ArcelorMittal is undertaking in pursuit of developing the French industry, while also providing our customers with solutions which help them to address their own CO2 reduction emissions, demonstrating the important role steel has to play in the future.

The launch event took place in our Tubular Products’ mill of Lexy, with the presence of Cédric Bouzar, CEO Downstream Solutions; Christophe Jacamon CFO Downstream Solutions; Antoine Solimine, Head of Public Affairs in France; Jeyachandran Rajasekaran, CEO ArcelorMittal Europe – Tubular Products; Adrian Alecu, Head of Sales & Marketing of ArcelorMittal Europe – Tubular Products; and Sylvain Santrisse, General Director of ArcelorMittal Europe – Tubular Products Lexy.

Were also present important politicians from the East of France: Henry Lemoine; Vice-President of the Grand Est region; Gerard Allieri, mayor of Lexy; Eduard Jacque, Lorraine Regional Councilor; Sergi Carli, President of the Longwy urban community and Veronique Cridel, Parliamentary Attaché la République en Marche.
